The Danish manufacturer Protection Group has been developing and producing protective equipment for front-line professionals for a decade (since 2013). Its specialty is bulletproof vests and ballistic helmets, which it supplies to armies and police forces.
One of the advantages of Protection Group is the fact that this company, based in Randers, Denmark, manufactures its products exclusively in its homeland or somewhere else in Europe. Thanks to this, the quality of production and adherence to standards can be directly supervised by the company's management, whose natural intention is that not even a shadow of doubt can be cast on the products that are supposed to protect those who protect us.
Naturally, the Protection Group does not produce the top-quality materials used by itself. However, they take them only from verified and top suppliers. Which ones are they?
Protection Group tries to prefer quality over quantity, therefore in official materials it claims that it will never be the largest manufacturer or supplier in its field. It does not want to flood the market with cheap products from dubious countries. It wants to adhere to its credo even at the cost of lower sales and profits.
In addition to mass production, the Danes also deal with custom production, and they can also handle larger orders in a short time.
One of the highlights of the Protection Group portfolio is the PGD-ARCH ballistic helmet, which is one of the lightest on the market. A lot of accessories can be mounted on its rail and front shell, but variability is not its most important feature. This popular helmet is often used by armies and police forces mainly because it effectively protects against the effects of conventional pistol ammunition and shrapnel. Compared to the established standard, the PGD helmet construction tends to deform much less and therefore there is a lower probability of brain damage from the energy generated when the projectile is caught.
