The Tasmanian Tiger brand originates from Germany and takes its name from the Tasmanian tiger, a legendary and mythical animal that some say still survives today, even though it is officially extinct. It is characterized by endurance, hunting instinct, cleverness and excellent camouflage.
Tasmanian Tiger was founded in 1999 as a sister brand of the legendary outdoor manufacturer Tatonka, which was founded in 1980, albeit under a different name. And while Tatonka is more oriented towards civilian nature lovers, Tasmanian Tiger mainly develops and manufactures tactical equipment for police and military forces.
From the Tasmanian Tiger brand, we have, among others, the following products in our assortment:
Already in 2002, the first Medic backpacks for medics were developed under the Tasmanian Tiger brand, and in 2003, the first combat backpack Tasmanian Tiger Range Pack Plus was introduced. It was equipped, among other things, with an innovative removable transport system for weapons.
Other products that Tasmanian Tiger gradually introduced included models with the all-encompassing names Police Bag, Mission Bag, Raid Pack, Combat Pack or First Responder.
Innovations are also important for this manufacturer, which consist not only in the constant improvement of individual models, but also in the use of advanced materials. For example, in 2010, Tasmanian Tiger became the first European supplier to use nylon-based Cordura 700D in its products.
The Modular Pack 30 backpack is rightfully one of the best we have to offer from the Tasmanian Tiger brand, although much of the TT range competes well with it. This is a tactical backpack that can be used equally well by military and survival enthusiasts for their outdoor trips. As the name implies, the backpack is modular and includes a universal MOLLE system (outside and inside) for connecting various holsters and pouches. Comfort during long-term carry is ensured by the ventilated Padded-Back System (TT).
